>>> Colorado Precinct Caucuses Approaching /p>
While all the media are focused on the presidential and other federal elections. There is a small local election that you won't hear anything about on the news or from the blogosphere. From Grand Junction to Denver to Pueblo, voters will be attending caucuses on February 7th in their local communities to elect delegates to the county party assembly and to elect committeemen to the county party central committee.
And if you're just not getting enough presidential politics, after the delegate and committeeman elections, you can also participate in the presidential straw poll. That might be the sizzle, but it's not the steak.
When you're elected as a delegate or precinct committeeman, it's you, not the registered voter, who will have a say in how your political party is run for the next two years.
To learn more about what committeemen are, if you don't already know, take a minute and read Precinct Committeeman - A Center of Power. To find out how easy it is to be elected in Colorado, take a look at Colorado Precinct Caucus. To get an idea of what to expect, you can also accept an invitation to How Do You Take Power This Year? ....
Fine-sounding rhetoric doesn't accomplish much. I'm challenging you to take the single most powerful action that ordinary people like us can take. Join the conference call for Colorado voters who want to shake up the status quo in your political party this year.
Unless you're an invalid and never leave your home, this is something that you CAN do.
The conference call is set for Monday, January 30th at 7:00 p.m. (Mountain). If you're getting your appendix removed on that day, the call will be recorded, but you should really try to join the live call where you can get your questions answered.
The call will focus on the specifics of getting elected in Colorado at your caucus on February 7th. Some of the information applies equally to many other states, so even if you don't live in Colorado, you will learn something.
This is your last chance to gain this powerful position for the next two years. Don't be kicking yourself later for missing this opportunity.
To get the teleconference details, text 'Colorado PC' with your name and e-mail address to (973)498-8066 or sign up at Project City Hall.

I have not posted much on this site. But now my attitude toward the media has decended from rage to fury! The media crossed the line of indignation a long time ago! I liked Herman Cain a lot.
