Thank you, Michael.  After the games he played with the immigration legislation committe, I am rather pleased he has withdrawn.  McCalister appears to be the one at this point.

Mike Haridopolis has just announced that he will "do the right thing" and drop out of the race for US Senate in Florida.  This paves the way for (hopefully) Col. Mike McCallister.

QUESTION: When referring to DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz, rather than identifying her as (D, FL_ or (D, FL-20) or (D, Weston), wouldn't it be more accurate to say, (D, Planned Parenthood)?  Or maybe (D, ACLU), or (D, NOW) or (D, AFL-CIO)?  These, after all, are her true constituents.

Welcome aboard Al.  My paternal family also fought in the Revolutionary war but they were Tories and were thrown out of New England into Canada when the colonist won.   I am terribly glad they did not stay in Canada but returned to the US.

Just to introduce myself to the Florida and National groups... I am a retired corporate executive, business owner,  education and training director. I retired in 1997 and now live on my farm in the Florida Panhandle. I have written two American history CD-ROM books: BETRAYED! DESTINED TO REPEAT... and America's Descent Into Despotism since I retired.

I do family history research and writing, garden, travel, hunt and fish. My wife and I have been married for 53 years. We have 3 daughters, 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. I am a Florida native with a Florida family history going back to the 1830s when Florida was still a Spanish territory. My father and mother's ancestors fought in the Revolutionary War, War Between the States and every war since. I have written a collection of articles of my family ancestors who fought for American titled, Barrs Relatives Who Fought For America.

I have studied American history and particularly the period from before the Revolutionary War to Reconstruction following the War Between The States and focus on where our nation went wrong and deviated from our Constitution, Bill of Rights and Declaration of Independence to arrive at the place we find ourselves today...
