For Which We Stand

United We Stand Stronger As Americans

Since the current administration managed to “Win” not one, but two terms in the White House, and although conservatives managed to take back the House and Senate, America feels that the “Good Guys” still have not managed to take America back to the America most of us want to not just remember, but know again! We have a chance to realize that dream, if we don’t blow it come November of next year. As you know “Rubeo” has been and is my choice, but you can be sure that should any of those currently running for that great office, and of course “responsibility”, they will have my vote, my wife’s vote, my brother’s vote, and of course my son’s vote. We understand the consequences should our country choose “Socialism” over “Conservatism” this time around, or anytime around.

Trump appears to be running away with the popular vote so far, and could very well win the nomination in November. Should he be the choice of our party, well I know Rubeo pledged to support him, as did all the other candidates running. If Rubeo can support Trump, well so can I, and I hope every conservative, Independent or even all dissatisfied Democrats will do the same. Maybe, just maybe we can then say, “The good guys did win”! After watching the Democratic, Progressive, Socialistic “debates” and as I watched, listened to what can only be described as clearly “Hillary” questions tossed to the weaker candidates, what became apparently clear was only one candidate was the choice of the progressive media. So, once again, Hillary will skate by as the “People’s Choice” as the farce came to a close, a merciful end to what should have been an indictment to a Secretary of State who not only broke the laws of this country, but placed its security at stake by receiving and passing along not only secret, but “Top Secret – Cod word” emails while stored in an unprotected server at her home. No, the “Good Guys” did not win on this one. If she is indicted on the felony laws she broke, then and only then will the “Good Guys Win)!

How do you feel about Trump over all ? Do you think he could do America right and make Our Country Great Again? I know he will not be able to undo all the bad Obama has done it the last 7 years in one year. It will take a long time to fix everything. What do you think ?

Donald Trump has made Billions, gone to the finest schools, received awards and recognition for his achievements, and understands the in's and out's of government, after all he has donated to all those who he might need over the years.  (And thats not a bad thing)  I believe he uses his bombastic personality to gain the trust of those who are looking for something other than what we have, after all what we have is not working very well.  I believe he really wants to "Make America Great Again", and that's not a bad thing.  I truly believe that each of the candidates running for the Republican Party will make a good President, some better than others, a very few a great President, maybe even exceptional.  I personally believe that Rubio is one of those who will make an exceptional President.  As far as Trump, well at the very least he will make a good President, and if "He" choses, he will make an exceptional President.  That of course is my own opinion, he and only he knows what is in his heart.  I believe he wants to do all those things he is promising, but like all Presidents, he should, unlike Obama, work with and through the Congress of the United States of our America.  If he does that, he just might make an exceptional President.  We can only hope.  And thank  you for placing my Post on the front page.  I am humbled.  God bless, Milt

Milton, how do you feel as of now the way things are going ?

I know so many every where is praying for our country and I know if the other one gets in the White House we all will lose a lot. This is our last change for America to get it right.

Your are absolutely right about this Barb, if we lose the White House this time, we lose America, the next "Supreme Court Justices" 3 - 5, will ensure the left finishes what they have started, a Socialistic Government and America as we know it is gone, gone probably for good, at least for the next several generations and that is to much for me, I love my Granddaughters and to see them grow up under Socialism is something I now fear.  So, fan or not of Trumps, he will get my vote.  Not to vote will ensure Hillary gets in and America is gone.  It is up to the voters!  God bless

I follow everything I can and share back to my pages when I can, its the best I can do but most of all I post Bible and pray a lot. God is our only hope to turn this around. I pray this over America every night.

Have mercy upon us, O LORD, have mercy upon us. Psalms 123:3

God heard my Prayer today

God heard my prayer todayNow I know God hears my prayer’s every day, but today, I really felt he was paying attention to me as I said a prayer for my son who is in serious harm’s way right now, you know, that part of the world where everyone is demonstrating with violence all around. No sooner than I finished my prayer, a simple prayer, that went something like this:“Dear Lord, I know you hear from me every day and I am always asking for so many things related to our troops, my son, and my…Continue

Ten Commandments of Human Relations

The fundamental issue in human ethical behavior is summarized by Jesus in what we have come to call "The Golden Rule." Jesus put it this way:

So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets (Matthew 7:12 TNIV).

It asks us to test our treatment of others by putting ourselves in their place. Treat others the way you would want them to treat you in the same or similar circumstance.

Somebody took that principle and translated it into Ten Commandments of Human Relations. You may have seen this anonymous piece, for it circulates in a variety of settings. In case you have missed it, I am reproducing it here.

Speak to people. There is nothing as nice as a cheerful word of greeting.

Smile at people. It takes 72 muscles to frown, only 14 to smile.

Call people by name. It is music to anyone’s ears to hear the sound of his or her name.

Be friendly and helpful.

Be cordial. Speak and act as if everything you do is genuinely a pleasure. If it isn’t, learn to make it so.

Be genuinely interested in people. You can like almost anyone, if you try.

Be generous with praise, cautious with criticism.

Be considerate of the feelings of others. There are usually three sides to a controversy — yours, the other fellow’s, and the correct one.

Be alert to serve. What counts most in life is what you do for others.

Live with a good sense of humor, a generous dose of patience, and a dash of humility appropriate to being human.

Made in God’s image, all of us have something to be valued!

The great challenge in human experience is not work skills, but people skills. That is, research has shown that the majority of people who fail in their vocation do so because they cannot get along with people.

You might think through the meaning of these ten common-sense ideas for your own workplace and personal activity. But what about the larger setting for your daily life? These principles work everywhere you go, for they are about showing respect to the people you meet in all those places.

Made in God’s image, all of us have something to be valued, affirmed, and acknowledged by others. But let it begin with us to acknowledge it in them. As the cycle of giving and receiving enlarges, the human community comes alive.
