It is the intention of this group to be a central place where all the facts regarding this administration can be reported and commented on for future elections and activities.

THE OBAMA WATCH CENTRAL GROUP WOULD LIKE TO MAKE THE STATEMENT THAT THE COMMENTS AND VIEWS BY MEMBERS IS NOT NECESSARILY VALIDATED BY OBAMA WATCH CENTRAL GROUP CREATOR.

General rules for the group:
1. Please keep comments/postings relevant to the topic!

2. On the "Comment Wall" keep comments relatively "short", i.e., don't use most of the page for your comments whether one or four paragraphs please! The wall format works best with general “small talk”. If you have lengthy comments or want to post articles, please start a discussion. This allows other members to specifically respond to your comments/article and it won’t get quickly buried on the wall.

Virginia, lost; New Jersey, lost; Massachusetts, lost, Olympics, lost; health bill, lost; cap & trade, lost; Card Check, lost; stimulus bill, failure; auto industry bailout, failure; apology tour, failure. He did manage to get a pretty nice shot of Air Force one flying over the Statue of Liberty, but he put half of the easters seaboard in a panic doing it.
He should quit while he's behind.

Vote could come on Christmas eve
The Senate may vote on health care on Christmas eve.

With Republicans looking to use every stalling tactic they can, Democratic senators say they expect to hold several late-night and early-morning votes over the next several days, Kathleen Hunter reports.

Sen. Kent Conrad (D-N.D.) said he heard the final vote may come on "7 or 8 o'clock Christmas eve."

"If everybody insists on every procedural delay they can conjure up," he said.

Republicans have launched an all-out procedural assault intended to slow the march to a final vote, arguing the overhaul is opposed by the American public.

The delay is also affecting the 2010 Defense appropriations bill (HR 3326 ), which the House sent to the Senate on Wednesday.
