1. MassResistance in huge robo-call and email blast for last week's Super Tuesday primary! Exposing aggressive pro-homosexual positions of former Mass. Gov. Mitt Romney -- to counter massive ad campaign by Romney camp.
As the 2012 presidential primary races are heating up, MassResistance is being called on to expose an important issue that the mainstream media (even Fox News) won't talk about. Millions of emails and robo-calls with MassResistance's information went to voters in key states leading up to Super Tuesday, which likely made a difference, say activists.

Romney's positions (and record) that the media doesn't talk about . . .

Over the past few months Mitt Romney has emerged as the most aggressive pro-homosexual major presidential candidate in Republican Party history. He has publicly said that he supports the homosexualization of the Armed Forces through repeal of "Don't Ask Don't Tell" and would not change that repeal. He has said he strongly supports broad "gay rights" laws (including the radical Employment Non-Discrimination Act - ENDA). He said on national television that he would nominate homosexual judges.

On national TV debate January 8, 2012:

Reporter: "When's the last time you stood up and spoke out for increasing gay rights?"

Romney: "Right now!"

See video

Although he believes in preserving the word "marriage" as between a man and woman, at the same time he supports the creation of legal homosexual "domestic partnerships" and "civil unions" that are essentially the legal equivalent to marriage, and has no problems with adoptions by same-sex couples.

Romney's pro-homosexual record as Governor of Massachusetts, which has been documented extensively by MassResistance, includes (among other things) his "Governor's Commission on Gay and Lesbian Youth" which used state money to aggressively promote homosexuality in the public schools.

Romney's infamous "Governor's Commission on Gay and Lesbian Youth" in 2005 at the annual "Youth Pride" parade in front of the State House. It was run by adult homosexual activists.

None of this is ever mentioned in the reports or commentary covering the candidates by the mainstream media or even the "conservative" media. Even Fox News is clearly afraid of the issue. And Romney's Republican opposition — the other candidates and the groups supporting them — are also very reluctant to bring it up directly. But we're not.

So as the race has gotten tighter, MassResistance is being called more and more to get involved.

MassResistance emails exposing Romney pour into to key primary states

The regular MassResistance emails are received by pro-family activists in all 50 states (and many foreign countries). And this year, starting before the Iowa Caucuses, we've been contacted and asked if there was an email that activists could forward to their friends and others in the state with primaries, regarding the pro-homosexual information on Romney that's been basically silenced everywhere else. In late December we put one together, which has been improved over the weeks.

Here's the latest version of the Romney email.

It started out relatively small. But things got big during the Jan. 21 South Carolina primary. Various pro-family activists there had made sure it got sent to several thousand people, pro-family activists and GOP activists. And from there by all accounts it went "viral" and was just about everywhere in South Carolina in the days before the primary. (We even got a call from CNN asking about it.) We were told by activists that they felt the email "made a big difference." (Gingrich ended up winning that race over Romney.)

Activists also worked hard get the MassResistance email sent far and wide in New Hampshire, Colorado, Missouri, Arizona, Florida and other primary states.

Escalates to huge email blasts

Then things really escalated. Just before the Michigan primary, it got the attention of a group that got it sent to over 750,000 voters in Michigan the day before the primary there.

The day before the Ohio Primary, another group got the email sent to over a million voters in Ohio! And the feedback has been very positive. Will it go into more states? We're waiting to hear!

The day before Super Tuesday: Robo-call blankets Ohio!

The "big hit" was a massive robo-call.

During the week before "Super Tuesday" on March 6, a group called Jews and Christians Together which supports Rick Santorum felt it was critical to get the information out on Romney's record, and that a "robo-call" would be most effective. So they asked Brian Camenker of MassResistance to be a part of it, along with Christian pro-family activist Darcy Brandon. (The group's founder, Dr. Gary Cass, is also a great pro-family activist.)

Ohio was the big state they decided to do. Romney had been massively outspending everyone there by at least 5-1 and had been organizing there for months. Santorum was very strong in the polls but Romney's share was getting bigger each day. It had to be a message that stood out — that people wouldn't forget easily.

So the day before the "Super Tuesday" vote these phone calls went out to voters across Ohio — to both Republicans and Democrats. (They were eligible to vote in either primary.)

Here's the phone message they heard across Ohio:
"Hi, my name is Brian Camenker; I'm a Jew from Massachusetts.

"And, this is Darcy Brandon; I'm a Christian from California. If you believe as we do that marriage and sexuality should only be between a man and a woman, please help us stop Mitt Romney.

"As Governor, Romney signed 'Gay Youth Pride Day' proclamations, promoted homosexuality in our elementary schools, and unconstitutionally ordered state officials to make Massachusetts America's first same-sex marriage state.

"Romney supports open homosexuality in the military, the appointment of homosexual judges, and the ENDA law, making it illegal to fire a man who wears a dress and high heels to work, even if he's your kid's teacher.

"When you vote tomorrow, please vote for social sanity and Rick Santorum, NOT for homosexuality and Mitt Romney.

"Rick Santorum is the ONLY candidate who can be trusted to uphold traditional marriage, a straight military, and the rights of American children to have both a mother and a father.

"This message paid for by Jews and Christians and not authorized by any candidate. To get the facts before you vote, visit Jews and Christians"

Listen to it here.

It was about a minute long, but by all accounts very effective. It's certainly not your average political robo-call, by any means!

Reaction from "both directions"

After the calls went out, Christians and Jews Together also put out a press release about the it, which got the word about the powerful robo-call out beyond Ohio.

It got around the country. On Tuesday morning during "drive time," Brian Camenker MassResistance was interviewed on KSEV radio in Houston by conservative talk host Sam Malone about it. Needless to say it was a fun interview! (They're hoping we do the call in Texas!)

Then later that morning the Bott Radio Network, which has 94 Christian stations across the Midwest, South, and Southwest, called the MassResistance office. They found this so exciting that the Chairman of the Board, Dick Bott, personally interviewed Brian Camenker, and the show was broadcast over all their stations.

HEAR: Brian Camenker interviewed by Dick Bott,
Chairman of Bott Radio Network (3/6/12).

But in addition, the robo-call caught the attention of the homosexual "community." Suffice to say, they weren't pleased. In blogs and postings across the Internet, they viciously attacked us — as they usually do when challenged — in profane, virulent, and disgusting terms (which we won't link here).

When the polls closed in the Ohio primary Rick Santorum barely lost to Mitt Romney. It was much closer than people predicted despite the enormous difference in resources. Did we help close the gap? We hope so.

Next stop: Calls across Alabama and Mississippi!

We were told this morning (Monday) that the calls were considered so effective that the calls are being done across Alabama and Mississippi on Monday (today), to inform voterers for Tuesday's primary in those states!

How effective is MassResistance's information? We know this much: Most voters just hear the commercials and read the paper, and would have had no idea about these critical issues.

But also: A lot more people are worried and shocked about this than the media thinks. And people understand that it's one thing for Barack Obama to be pushing this agenda. But the thought of a Republican president — with a Republican Congress behind him — doing it is very disturbing. We believe that at the very least, voters must be informed with the truth.

2. Amy Contrada's new articles exposing Romney's Massachusetts record getting notice — Forbes magazine website, radio appearances, and more.

Being in Massachusetts, we see the pro-family political issues here up close. And during the Romney years that was especially true. Unfortunately, if we hadn't been here to document things — and follow them up as current events evolve — there's a lot that people simply wouldn't know. This is especially important as the presidential primaries heat up.

Over the last few months MassResistance researcher Amy Contrada has published a number of very informative (and troubling) articles regarding the true record of the Romney administration. (And don't miss her e-books, readable on your computer.) These articles have been linked or reprinted across the Web in conservative websites such as,, and various conservative blogs. They're also linked on our Mitt Romney Report, to which Amy is a big contributor.

But in case you missed them, here are some of the most recent ones:
RomneyCare Now Funding FREE Abortions (March 7, 2012) — You thought it was just $50? As could be predicted, things have "progressed."

(Forbes Magazine website links to RomneyCare article which was also published on the Renew America website)

Mitt Romney's CPAC Speech: His Claims vs. the Truth (Feb. 18, 2012) —In his Feb. 10, 2012 speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), Romney bragged about his "severely" conservative record on critical pro-family issues while Governor.

Huckabee: Governor Romney acted unconstitutionally on "gay marriage" (Feb. 5, 2008)

Romney's Record on Judicial and Legal Appointments (Dec. 9, 2011) — Can he be trusted as President to appoint conservatives to the Courts and Justice Department?

Mitt Romney's Job Creation Record: Supporting Companies with Radical Social Policies (Nov. 7, 2011)
Mitt Romney's Other Flip-Flop: Follow the Court or the Constitution? (Nov. 11, 2011) -- Did he really have to change marriage certificates to "Party A and Party B"? (Also reprinted in WorldNetDaily Whistleblower magazine (Jan. 2012)

3. See our updated Mitt Romney Report with more info and links to articles on many topics.

We've added a lot of new research, links, and other material to our nationally famous Mitt Romney Report page.

Our compendium is near the top of the of Google search results for Romney's record -- often at the very top. That tells you something about how poorly the mainstream media (including "conservative" outlets) are doing on vetting this candidate -- as well as the importance of our work over the years. More and more activists, researchers, and journalists are using it as a resource.

The report includes these areas:

General documentation
Romney Books by Amy Contrada
"Gay marriage" in Massachusetts
Homosexual agenda
Buying off politicians & groups
Other issues as Governor
Campaign antics
Big money, Bain Capital

(And don't miss the photo at the end, which sums it all up.)

Ten Commandments of Human Relations

The fundamental issue in human ethical behavior is summarized by Jesus in what we have come to call "The Golden Rule." Jesus put it this way:

So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets (Matthew 7:12 TNIV).

It asks us to test our treatment of others by putting ourselves in their place. Treat others the way you would want them to treat you in the same or similar circumstance.

Somebody took that principle and translated it into Ten Commandments of Human Relations. You may have seen this anonymous piece, for it circulates in a variety of settings. In case you have missed it, I am reproducing it here.

Speak to people. There is nothing as nice as a cheerful word of greeting.

Smile at people. It takes 72 muscles to frown, only 14 to smile.

Call people by name. It is music to anyone’s ears to hear the sound of his or her name.

Be friendly and helpful.

Be cordial. Speak and act as if everything you do is genuinely a pleasure. If it isn’t, learn to make it so.

Be genuinely interested in people. You can like almost anyone, if you try.

Be generous with praise, cautious with criticism.

Be considerate of the feelings of others. There are usually three sides to a controversy — yours, the other fellow’s, and the correct one.

Be alert to serve. What counts most in life is what you do for others.

Live with a good sense of humor, a generous dose of patience, and a dash of humility appropriate to being human.

Made in God’s image, all of us have something to be valued!

The great challenge in human experience is not work skills, but people skills. That is, research has shown that the majority of people who fail in their vocation do so because they cannot get along with people.

You might think through the meaning of these ten common-sense ideas for your own workplace and personal activity. But what about the larger setting for your daily life? These principles work everywhere you go, for they are about showing respect to the people you meet in all those places.

Made in God’s image, all of us have something to be valued, affirmed, and acknowledged by others. But let it begin with us to acknowledge it in them. As the cycle of giving and receiving enlarges, the human community comes alive.
